MINDFUL PROGRAMS

INTRODUCTION TO MINDFULNESS

Explore how mindfulness can support greater calm, awareness, and wellbeing—whether you are beginning your journey or seeking to strengthen your existing practice. Introducing Mindfulness is a 3-week program that provides an engaging introduction to mindfulness concepts and practices, exploring foundational themes and practical techniques that can help you manage stress, build resilience, and develop greater balance and presence in your daily life and work.

MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION

Participants learn to relate differently to stress, develop self-awareness and cultivate kind attention and equanimity; through the practice of mindfulness. It was originally designed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, University of Massachusetts Medical Center, empirically supported to reduce stress and pain in participants (originally done with patients with chronic illnesses).  Today, it is offered to people in all sectors as many people have benefited from this practice.

MINDFULNESS-BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is an evidence-based eight-week group program combining mindfulness meditation with cognitive therapy principles. Developed by Zindel Segal, Mark Williams, and John Teasdale, it builds on Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program. Originally designed to prevent relapse in depression, MBCT is now used to support people with anxiety, stress, and emotional challenges through awareness, acceptance.
